We'll train you to thrive at the convergence of human and machine teaming. At the University of Arizona, humans team with robots to deliver food from the student union to the entire campus. These self-driving AI-powered robots connect the university community around food, starting with the culinary experts in the student union and ending with the joy of in-person gatherings in dorms and offices.

CAST degrees equip students with technological and interdisciplinary degrees that lead to exciting careers with tremendous employment potential. Our faculty is a mix of academic and career professionals in their fields of study, so students always get current theory and practice in the classroom. We provide students with programs that are accessible and flexible, offering 100% online programs and in-person options. With our ability to accept up to 75 transfer credits from AAS degrees towards our BAS degrees, we make your journey to degree completion achievable.
A Convergent Curriculum
While you specialize in a specific program at CAST, you also have an opportunity to take classes across the college curriculum. We'll prepare you for an amazingly complex, interconnected, and rapidly changing world. Convergence is also the founding concept for our brand-new Cyber Convergence Center (C3) focused on bridging the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) human-technology divide through applied research. Opportunities to do research and project-based learning are available to all CAST students.

- The National Security Agency designated our Cyber Operations program as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). With this designation, we join a highly exclusive group of only 24 Cyber programs in the nation. The NSA's CAE-CO designation indicates that our program meets and exceeds the most demanding academic and technical requirements for Cyber degree programs in the country.
- The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) designated our Intelligence and Information Operations Program as the #1 Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence (IC CAE) in the nation.
- Our Human Services program is the only online degree nationally accredited by the Council for Standards in Human Service Education.
