Stephen Masterson

Stephen Masterson is the Information Technology Manager for CAST, serving the college’s IT needs.

His background is in education, technology, and instructional design. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the American University in Cairo, Egypt and a MSED in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, Bloomington. Before coming to the University of Arizona in Sierra Vista, he lived and worked in Cairo, Egypt for 15 years. During his time there, he served as the Director of Classroom Technologies and Media Services for the American University in Cairo. In that role, he managed classroom technology, event services, video conferencing, and IPTV services. He also taught Professional Educational Development courses online to adult learners.

Stephen brings with him nearly three decades of higher education and international experience in diverse contexts. He enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing music.
