Billy Zsambok, MS

Limited Term Adjunct Instructor

 Professor Billy Zsambok entered the United States Army in 1998 as an Infantryman, a direct user of Geospatial Information and Services and GEOINT data. He joined the GEOINT profession in 2003 and has supported tactical and strategic GEOINT missions for both the Service and Joint levels. Professor Zsambok’s specialized experience within GEOINT focuses on advanced applications, science and technology experiments, and a variety of non-literal techniques. Additionally, he has served as a GEOINT Collection Manager for nine years, been a key participant in numerous GEOINT community initiatives and force modernization capability developments, and was recognized by the Director of National Intelligence for his work developing the GEOINT Professional Certification program for the National System for GEOINT.

Professor Zsambok is a University of Arizona graduate where he earned his Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology Program. Professor Zsambok has three national-level GEOINT Professional Certifications in GEOINT Foundations, GEOINT Imagery Analysis, and GEOINT Collection Management and holds numerous Army and National-level certifications in GEOINT and Measurement and Signature Intelligence.
