Organizational Leadership

LDRV 397A - Junior Mentoring Workshop

LDRV 397A provides students the practical application of theoretical learning within a small group setting and involving an exchange of ideas and practical methods, skills, and principles for various topics that relate to the field of Organizational Leadership.

LDRV 397B - Senior Mentoring Workshop

LDRV 397B provides students the practical application of theoretical learning within a small group setting and involving an exchange of ideas and practical methods, skills, and principles for various topics that relate to the field of Organizational Leadership.

LDRV 401 - Leadership in a Diverse Environment

LDRV 401 is focuses on developing basic management skills to motivate and lead employees, improve organizational performance, and succeed amid diversity within the organization

LDRV 303 - Negotiations

LDRV303 focuses on the development of negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

LDRV 305 - Organizational Behavior

LDRV 305 integrates classical and current organizational psychosocial theories and theories of organizations that provide an understanding of the effects that an organizational system has on the behavior choices of human beings in the work environment.

LDRV 404 - The Business Function

LDRV 404 focuses on broadening each student's understanding of business as well as the business goals and objectives needed to be successful in the workplace. It also emphasizes critical thinking and applying this process to the corporate world.

LDRV 304 - The Human Resource Function

LDRV 304 focuses on developing basic human resource management skills to motivate and lead employees, improve organizational performance, and succeed amid diversity within the organization.

LDRV 400 - Developing and Maintaining Work Teams

LDRV 400 emphasizes the development of the skills needed by leaders in creating, developing and maintaining high performance work teams in the organizational environment.

LDRV 391/491 Preceptorship

Specialized work on an individual basis, consisting of instruction and practice in actual service in a department, program, or discipline. Teaching formats may include seminars, in-depth studies, laboratory work, and organizational study.

LDRV 393/493 - Internship

Specialized work on an individual basis, consisting of training and practice in actual service in a technical, business, or governmental establishment.

LDRV 399/499 - Independent Study

Engage in undergraduate research or a self-driven project with a professional mentor. You might engage in literature reviews, learn to collect and analyze data, or work in the field on Organizational Research projects. Entrepreneurs are constantly doing field research, and this experience can be tailored to pursue those passions as well.

LDRV 496 - Special Topics

Critical examination and exploration of various topics (inc. theories, research and applications) that relate to the field of Organizational Leadership.

RNCV 417 deals with the relationship of international trade and the social responsibility in contributing to the economic development of developing countries

RNCV 311 - Market Planning

This course provides an in-depth exploration of the 4 P's of marketing: product, price, place and promotion. This course addresses all the components of marketing in detail with a marketing plan being the main project.

PSYV 471 - Psychology of Leadership

PSYV 471 provides students an overview of psychological theories of leadership. Reviews leadership as a process, leader and follower behaviors, and situational characteristics. Analysis of historical and modern case studies will be used to apply theoretical concepts.

PSYV 375 covers application of the principles of psychology to industrial and social organizations, including personnel, human factors, organizational and consumer psychology.
