Patient advocates provide services to patients and those supporting them, in navigating the complex healthcare continuum. Advocates work to ensure patients have a voice in their care, and access to the necessary information to promote informed decision making. In HUSV 405 we will explore multi- dimensional domains of advocacy, at the personal, community, and institutional levels.
