Course Description
NETV 379 provides students an introduction to the concepts of cloud computing and a clear understanding of the variety, complexity, and capabilities of modern cloud platforms. The student will learn how to deploy web services in a cloud computing environment and how to scale capabilities using orchestration and automation technologies. The student will also be exposed to some of the fundamental security issues and challenges of a cloud computing environment and best practice approaches to mitigate those issues. NETV 379 meets the National Security Agency (NSA) Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO) academic requirements for cloud security and cloud computing.
Learning Outcomes
The student will:
