Teasha Decaire

Teasha Decaire is an academic advisor in the College of Information Science.

Before joining the college, Teasha spent nearly three years as an academic success coach at Pima Community College, working with students in all seasons of life. Prior to that, she worked for almost seven years as a dispatcher with the University of Arizona Police Department, which deepened my connection to this campus and community.

Her educational journey was not always easy. College did not come naturally, but with support and perseverance, she earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Arizona University at age 36. That experience has profoundly shaped how she approached advising.

Teasha understand firsthand that everyone’s path looks different, and is passionate about helping students navigate their educational journeys and pursue their goals. As an advisor, she is here to support you every step of the way.
