Harry Cooper

I am Dr. Cooper and I teach graduate and undergraduate courses on Cyber Counter Intelligence, Information Assurance, Cryptography, Cyber Defense, and other cyber courses at the University of Arizona and other institutions. Prior to my movement into teaching, I had previously spent 13 years in the corporate sector before starting my own technology company, Thimbleweed Consulting, and subsequently TWC Security. I have over 20 years of experience in developing software and hardware products, and during the last 10 years, I have focused on research and development of security, intelligence, and forensic technologies. I am also very active in cyber counterintelligence and research and I develop various cyber threat analyses. You will find that I am a nut for puzzles and thought exercises, and I highly encourage every student who wants to work in cybersecurity to spend as much time as possible on these types of activities.
