Christopher Baker has held a variety of positions throughout his career including First Sergeant of the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leader Course, Manager of a Special Capabilities Team responsible for ensuring compliance with the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (Start) throughout the Pacific region, Chief Instructor for the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence Noncommissioned Officer Academy, and Senior Geospatial Analyst for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

During these assignments, he participated in seven deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and four deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Christopher Baker’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2nd OLC), Army Commendation Medal (1st OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal (2nd OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1st OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Iraqi Campaign Medal (3 Campaign Stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 4), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (numeral 5), Meritorious Unit Citation, Parachutist Badge, Army Basic Space Badge, Senior Army Instructor Badge, and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.

Christopher Baker is a graduate of all Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development System courses through the Master Leader Course where he graduated with Commandant’s list honors, he completed the Company Commander and First Sergeant Course, the Army Space Cadre Course, the Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) course, the Aircrew Water Survival training, 160th SOAR(A) Basic Mission Qualification Training course (Green Platoon), the Army Basic Instructor Course, Airborne School, and Army Combative Level I.

Christopher Baker is married to the former Rachel Spivak. His children are Isabella, Tatum, Abel, Wyatt, and Willow.
